NHM Chandigarh Lab Technician Recruitment 2026 Notification Out

National Health Mission (NHM), Chandigarh has released an official notification for the recruitment of 16 Lab Technician posts under NHM and IPHL (PMABHIM) on a contractual basis. These appointments will be made initially up to 31 March 2027, which may be extended depending on performance and project requirements. Candidates with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or a B.Sc. degree in Lab Technology are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates can apply through offline mode by submitting their application to the Office of the Mission Director, NHM, Chandigarh. The last date to apply is 10th February 2026.

NHM Chandigarh Lab Technician 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have 10+2 in Science with Diploma in Certificate course in Medical Laboratory Technology or its equivalent (full time course)
    OR
  • B.Sc in Lab Technology from any recognized institute (full-time course).

Age Limit:

  • The maximum age limit is 60 years for all categories.

  • Selected candidates for the post of Lab Technician under National Health Mission (NHM), Chandigarh will be appointed on a contractual basis and will be paid a fixed consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 26,896 per month.

NHM Chandigarh Lab Technician 2026 Selection Process

  • The selection will be based on a written test of 90 marks. In addition, 10 marks are reserved for experience for candidates who worked in COVID-19 duty between 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2022 in GMCH-32, GMSH-16 Chandigarh or allied health facilities.
